When you do great things in sports in America, you might get a super fucking cool phone call. After the United States' nice little run in the World Cup, goalkeeper Tim Howard and striker Clint Dempsey got that call, from President Barack Obama.

The POTUS praised the U.S. National Team for "making us proud" before advising Howard that he might want to shave his signature beard in order to avoid the mobs of people fawning over him. Frankly, it's not a bad idea. Especially coming from a guy who won't ever be able to walk into a Starbucks incognito for the rest of his life.
