Yesterday, the 2014 NFL season kicked off, and Jordan Brand athletes around the league debuted in extra special kicks. We've seen the iconic Jumpman logo make its way onto the football field in the past, but perhaps never in as many PE colorways of the Air Jordan VI cleat as we saw on Sunday.

With Jordan Brand making a stronger push this year to enter the training space, we're beginning to see more Jordan gear on the football field. Back in the day, Jordan had guys like Randy Moss and Warren Sapp rocking J's on the field, but the brand wasn't nearly as widespread among football players as it is today. Now, JB counts Earl Thomas, Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, Andre Johnson, LaMarr Woodley, Hakeem Nicks, Dwight Freeney, Jordan Lynch and Charles Woodson among its endorsers. And this summer, they were all on hand at Nike World Headquarters in Oregon to train together and check out new product for this season — like the Jordan VIs you see above, each personalized with team colorways and names or initials on the tongue, in either mid- or low-cut silhouettes based on the players' preferences.
