Last week, TMZ ran with a story suggesting that "sources" were indicating soccer mega-star Cristiano Ronaldo was teaming up with rapper Lil' Wayne, as the No. 1 client on Weezy's brand new sports management company. This is what TMZ originally reported:

We're told Weezy's company will be working with PolarisSports -- which is affiliated with the CAA agency and GestiFute -- through which Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes operates.

Our sources tell us Wayne's company will handle Ronaldo's sports management affairs in the United States -- everything from branding to marketing and endorsement deals. Even modeling.

Many people also jumped on to this theory after Ronaldo tweeted out a photo of a whole bunch of random people throwing up YMCMB hand signs.

But it sounds like the partnership was never a real thing, as CR7 tweeted over the weekend that he has no plans to change his management team.

Then, he tweeted out a picture of himself in underwear. Ah, yes, back to normal.
