Ty Dolla Sign: The ANTENNA Q+A

Last week, after making an early-morning trek from North Carolina to New York with his crew, Los Angeles rapper Ty Dolla $ign stopped through our office and plopped down on the couch.

Currently signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records and Atlantic Records, the 29-year-old is the musical genius behind mega-hits like "Paranoid" and "Or Nah," and was recently named to the 2014 XXL Freshmen List. But could he handle the ANTENNA Q+A? We put him to the test.

1. What was your favorite childhood cartoon and why?

Bugs Bunny. Looney Tunes.

2. When you go to the movie theater, what’s your must-have candy or popcorn situation?

When I go to the movies, my must-have is, like, the caramel corn mixed with the regular popcorn, and then maybe some type of chocolate, and you mix it all together in one.

3. What’s the best TV show out right now?

The best TV show out right now is Just Keke, Keke Palmer's new show. [Laughs]

4. Kobe or LeBron?

Kobe. That's L.A. The Lakers.

5. Favorite Disney Princess?

6. When is the last time you Googled yourself, and why?

I don't know if I've ever Googled myself. I don't do it.

7. What’s your shower routine?

Shit, you go to sleep. [Laughing] You go to sleep. It's quiet. Real quiet.
