Sneaker of the Week: John Geiger x LASCO Air Yeezy 2

John Geiger is a name that rings bells with sneakerheads that look beyond general releases and hypebeasted drops. His Nike Air Force 1 ‘Misplaced Checks’ made major waves but the ship doesn’t stop there. He’s teamed up with LASCO for a golden release that shines so brightly that it’s our Sneaker of the Week.

Ever since Kanye jumped over the Jumpman the Yeezy 2 has took a leap in value as well and for this release John Geiger makes them the gold standard. He’s employed LASCO to bring them back to life with a gold covered build that you can see from the ground up over on LASCO’s Instagram page. Fun fact: a single pair takes 62 pieces to construct and takes over 40 hours to turn into the final product that you see pictured above.

John Geiger and LASCO’s custom Air Yeezy 2 Golden Child is set to release on August 13 and while prices aren’t listed they won’t be cheap and are very limited.
