Time and time again it has been proven that simplicity is the pillar of design that just won’t fail. The Nike Air Max 1 model represents this principle. The sneaker giant's upcoming Nike Air Max 1 PRM 87 release is so clean and uncomplicated that it gets our coveted Sneaker of The Week salute.

The Nike Air Max 1 PRM 87 build is as classic as they come and the designers didn't do anything to alter the formula here. White leather is toggle against a cream canvas mesh and off-white suede elements on the laceplate. However, when you get to the back of the sneaker you see a hard to miss homage to the model’s date of birth with a bold "87" stamped over the Nike Air logo.

This bold yet clean new edition of the Air Max 1 PRM 87 doesn’t have a retail date yet but sneaker insiders say that Nike is aiming for a summer release.
