Rustie and Danny Brown Are in Beast Mode on “Attak”

Rustie is gearing up to release his sophomore album Green Language on August 26 via Warp, and now to follow up lead single "Raptor," he has premiered "Attak" featuring Danny Brown. The Scottish producer and Detroit MC already teamed up to great effect on a string of tracks on DB's Old, and the two continue to find common ground amidst their off-kilter approaches on this straight-up beast.

Rustie's beat is alternately noodly and throbbing, and it's hard to imagine someone other than Danny Brown being able to maintain such a relentless energy level and avoid getting swallowed up by the maximalism. Dude goes hammer on the last bar.
