The Internets were abuzz earlier this week when photos of the tennis-basketball hybrid Nike Court Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 surfaced online via sneaker retailer Footaction. But the photos quickly came down, along with the proposed Tuesday release date.

Now, per Footaction's Twitter account, the kicks will drop in-store only at Flight 23 in New York City on Wednesday, with a $200 price tag. There will be a very limited supply of these AJ III-inspired tennis kicks designed for Nike athlete Roger Federer (hence the prominent "RF" logo), so if you want them, better start lining up now.

UPDATE: Nike released official photos on Tuesday, which we've added to the gallery above. Plus, check out the video below for comments from Federer and MJ on the tennis-basketball hybrid. As for availability? Nike says: "The limited edition NikeCourt Zoom Vapor AJ3 by Jordan debuts Aug. 27 in white/fire red-cement grey at North America NikeLab destinations, Niketown NY, Flight 23, as well as online at nike.com."
