Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is arriving this weekend, we can start focusing more of our excitement (if even possible) on Mad Max: Fury Road. We’ve got one final trailer for the film, and it features perhaps the most dialogue and exposition yet — that’s definitely quite a change from previous trailers for the film. What hasn’t changed: fire, blood, monstrous vehicles, and that lovely day Nicholas Hoult has been going on about.

Yes, the final trailer recycles some previously seen footage, but Charlize Theron’s Furiosa is given more focus, and her mission with Max becomes clear: transport fuel in the wasteland while avoiding “war parties” wishing to steal their precious cargo. Mad Max fans may also notice that tiny music box from The Road Warrior in one scene, as one of Furiosa’s charges ponders praying to anyone who will listen.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone.  Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa.  They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken.  Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

Mad Max: Fury Road stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Hugh Keays-Byrne, and arrives in theaters on May 15.
