LeBron James Sent His Neighbors Cupcakes to Apologize For Recent ‘Chaos’
LeBron James is back in Cleveland. And people are excited, as you can imagine. Like, linger-outside-LeBron's-house type of excited. In the week leading up to July 11, the day LeBron announced his decision, fans began to loiter on LeBron's block in the Bath Township neighborhood of Akron.
It caused enough of a commotion that LeBron and his family felt it only right that they send a thank you gift to their neighbors — in the form of some delicious-looking cupcakes.
A photo of the pastries showed up on Reddit with a note that reads in part, "Dear Friend, We know things have been hectic in our neighborhood these past few weeks and we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you."
One of the neighbors who received the cupcakes even called them "some of the best cupcakes I ever had," which is clearly a brown-nosing tactic, but you know what, they do look damn delectable.
It's clear that LeBron is done playing the villain role, and ready to take back his place as the hero of Ohio. Respect, King.
