ILoveMakonnen Goes Old School on “Piano Class”

Drake's latest protege, ILoveMakonnen, has been holed up in the studio since signing with OVO — except when he's been hobnobbing at New York Fashion Week — and now he has emerged with a new song, just a couple months after his sorta-breakout self-titled EP dropped.

"Piano Class" is actually one of the rapper-singer hybrid's more straightforward cuts, with Makonnen drawling over a warbly piano line (fitting!) that sounds like it's playing off a warped cassette. The track was produced by Dream Panther.
