‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Really Likes This Whole ‘Hall of Faces’ Thing
Whenever Game of Thrones finally gets around to a full Season 6 trailer, fans will undoubtedly agonize over the continued secrecy of Jon Snow’s fate, and HBO isn’t likely to oblige until at least April 24. In the meantime, have a bunch of posters of everyone’s faces, dead or alive! They seem to be enjoying themselves.
Slowly, but surely, HBO’s various Twitter accounts across every territory began releasing posters of different characters as presented in the Hall of Faces, similar to the recent teaser, and regardless of whether or not their characters have actually died in the show. Jon Snow is there, but then again, so is Daenerys, as well as Nymeria Sand, Prince Oberyn, and all-manner of non-canonical visages.
You know what? Here, we’ll save you some time. Everyone has a face!
Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 6, soon to be renewed for Seasons 7 and 8, screen legend Max von Sydow has been cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven to a returning Bran, while Deadwood alum Ian McShane will also appear in a limited, mysterious role, joining Richard E. Grant and The Babadook star Essie Davis as theatre troup players, four notable actors as the Tarly family, Melanie Liburd as a new Red Priestess, and Borgen star Pilou Asbæk as fan-favorite Euron Greyjoy. Apart from a list of directors, Of Monsters and Men will put in a cameo, and story logistics seemingly confirm scenes set at The Wall next year.
In the meantime, check out the latest on the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere with additional teasers below, and stay tuned for April 24!
