Young Thug Gets Loopy on “You The World”

After appearing on a couple manic bangers like "Chanel Vintage" and "Get TF Out My Face" recently, Young Thug goes loopy on his new C4 collab "You the World," and the fact that its World Cup-themed artwork is a couple months late seems completely fitting.

This is almost like Thug's unhinged version of what Vic Mensa did with a dance music attempt on "Down On My Luck," and he spends the first minute or so sounding like a leaning Speedy Gonzales, whimpering and half-singing over a low-key EDM beat. The track feels half-finished, but even if it is, a half-finished Young Thug joint is worth repeated listens.

Apparently "You the World" will appear on C4 and Thugger's collaborative Nerds project.
