The breakfast of champions is about to become the beer of champions.

Yup, Wheaties beer is about to become an actual beverage for you to enjoy.

The cereal has teamed up with Minneapolis-based brewery Fulton to make HefeWheaties, a hefeweizen beer. For those of you not in the know, hefeweizen is a German style of wheat beer.

Wheaties isn't actually in the beer, but the drink will be made with wheat, which, obviously, is in the cereal and is enough of a common ingredient for these two seemingly unrelated products to join forces.

If you're rejoicing about the possibility of a new beer passing through your lips, well, you may want to temper your expectations because finding the beer will be about as easy as tracking down Frosted Flakes whiskey.

That's because HefeWheaties will only be marketed for a limited time, beginning August 26. You can buy them in 16-ounce cans and four-packs, but here's the really bad news: HefeWheaties will not be shipped nor will they be able to be bought outside of Minnesota.

What does that mean? Well, either you deal with the fact you won't get it, call that long-lost uncle in Duluth to pick up a four-pack or start scouring the internet for the best prices on flights to Minneapolis.
