Back on Valentine's Day of 2013, Vin Diesel croaked out a passionate, pitchy karaoke version of Rihanna's "Stay," and it was unequivocally one of the best moments of the year. No other dudebro can be such a dudebro on the big screen, getting into a roided out, Drago-vs.-Rocky marathon brawl with The Rock, and then proceed to enter a cocoon of loneliness to belt out one of the most Philadelphia whipped cream cheese-soft love ballads of the decade like it's completely normal. Well, Vin has followed that performance up with a companion cover of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me."

While doing an interview with Capital FM, the host for some reason put him up to the challenge, and for some reason he agreed to take on the British crooner's hit, even though he allegedly had never heard it before. Once the song begins, his nasally bellow swoops and soars with abandon across the delicate arrangement, and Sam Smith's grace is subsumed by Diesel's brute force. But props to the star for being game and putting himself out there.

Watch it below (the singing begins at 3:25), then relive his stellar Rihanna cover.

Maybe next up he'll snag a feature with his Fast & Furious costar Iggy Azalea.
