Not everyone is a fan of Donald Trump, and you can add The Weeknd and rap newcomer Belly to that list. The musicians had been scheduled to perform “Might Not” ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (May 25) but canceled their performance due to Trump’s appearance.

A rep for Belly sent a press release to E! News to explain the Roc Nation rapper’s decision not to perform.

"I feel like the way I was raised was to be able to see through all the titles in this world - from religion to race," said Belly said in the statement. "I just didn't want to feel like I was a part of a celebration for somebody who has beliefs that majority of us don't agree with."

Belly's rep later added, "Belly, a man of the world who grew up as a minority immigrant in Canada, has a strong conviction against Donald Trump's radical beliefs. A strong believer in equal rights for all, Belly is taking a stand against a man who has made many negative and detrimental remarks about minorities, women, various religious groups and more. His television debut was meant to support the release of his soon-to-be-released mixtape Another Day in Paradise. Belly hopes that his fans understand his point of view, and he plans to make it up to them very soon."

Publicists for the Weekend have yet to explain the singer's decision to cancel but we can assume that he pulled out in support of his fellow Canadian artist.

Following his no-show on Jimmy Kimmel, fans went on Belly's Instagram account to express their support for the rapper.

"Lot of people are all talk, but actions speak louder than words and the decision you made is highly respected. xo," wrote one supporter.

However, some felt that the Weeknd and Belly's decision not to perform on the show because of Trump was idiotic.

"I'm curious exactly which President Trump policy this typical idiot wannabe rapper disagrees with......?" wrote one obvious Donald Trump supporter. "I'm sure it's a law that's already on the books that's just not enforced. Blacks don't even know why they don't like Trump. It's kinda funny but then again hey didn't know why they voted for Obama besides the color of his skin...just sing and dance....sing and dance."
