Russia’s Sick Sherp ATV Is a Monster Truck That’s a Truck Monster
The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming -- in a really sweet ride.
Get a load of this beast of a truck from Russia that can drive over land and in water with the ease of the way you walk over ants.
According to Jalopnik, the Sherp ATV, created by Aleksey Garagashyan, can ride over anything as high as 27-and-a-half inches and costs a mere $50,000, if you’re looking to buy one and have way too much space in your garage:
It weighs just 2,866 pounds dry, so while it might only have a 44.3 horsepower 1.5 liter Kubota V1505 four-cylinder diesel linked to a five-speed manual, it will still do 28 mph on land, or 3.7 mph in water, depending on the wind. It will also crawl at up to 9.3 mph in first gear."
It also has a tank that can hold 15 gallons of gas.
It’s just a wee bit better than the Honda Civic you’ve been limping along in, right?
