Prophets of Rage Bringing the Fury on ‘Make America Rage Again’ Tour
After a successful run of shows in Los Angeles and New York, Prophets of Rage are ready to bring their fury on their "Make America Rage Again" tour.
The group, which consists of members of Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, will embark on North American trek after their secretive performance during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on July 19.
Then a month later, Prophets of Rage will hit the road on a 32-city tour starting on Aug. 19 in Fairfax, Va., and then hit cities across the U.S. for the next two months before wrapping it up on Oct. 16 in Chula Vista, Calif.
Prophets of Rage consists of Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Will alongside Public Enemy's Chuck D, Cypress Hill's B-Real and DJ Lord.
"We thought it was wholly irresponsible of us to be sitting on the sidelines when we have a catalog of material like we do between the three of us to go out and fight the power, to take the power back, to bring the noise [and] to rise up," said Morello of the group's mission statement.
