Nicki Minaj took to Twitter and Instagram to shade the powers that be over at CBS for their scaredy-cat edits during her Fashion Rocks performance of "Anaconda." Minaj performed the single from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, and during the broadcast last night (September 9), the network kept it to wide angles and shots of the audience.

"Barbz, I'm sorry about those angles," she wrote on Twitter. "They told us they'd go wide, never mentioned they'd shoot the audience instead." The star went into more detail in an Instagram post, pointing out that CBS cut around key parts of the choreography. "I wish you could've seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night. It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end."

She added, "Ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity."

In CBS's defense, the network is only watched by old white people. The sight of Nicki's twerking ass in full HD (wait you KNOW they were mistakenly watching it on the SD channel) would've had the same effect on the elderly as a heat wave in Europe. The channel's entire demographic would've been tipped over clutching at their Life Alerts.

We recommend she take the edge of by having a laugh with this.
