“In the beginning Kanye created the heaven and the earth ... and Kanye said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

So reads a passage from The Book of Yeezus, a modified version of the Genesis book of the Bible in which every mention of God is replaced with recovering megalomaniac Kanye West.

Let's hope this doesn't trigger Kanye and ruin Easter in the West house.

"In a sense, Kanye’s awesome and orchestrated spectacle is truly a religious experience," the book's Etsy description reads. "In a foreword, we explore our consumerist, quick-fix, and information-culture, and celebrate Kanye and the outsized significance he plays in our lives. All of this, bound in a black, hard-cover gold-leaf imprinted book."

The book is currently being sold for $20 by Channel222 and the tongue-in-cheek product is described as "a novelty coffee-table book, celebrating the grandeur of mega-icon Kanye West" and "the Bible for the New Age."

"We are here to spread a doctrine. Well, a pseudo-doctrine. We ask you to use your pulpit for Good," the description says. "A few months ago, my brothers and I embarked on a creative journey that began with a 'What If?': What if the Bible, the most singularly significant publication in the ancient canon of Western tradition, were updated to reflect our modern society? What would it look like? What we came up with was an interventionist art, coffee-table novelty, that will appeal to both Kanye fans everywhere and those made curious by this enormous cultural phenomenon."

The Book of Yeezus, which includes a 300-word foreword, is described on bookofyeezus.com as exploring "our culture's state of religiosity and its capacity for wonder. How does spirituality, an evolutionary reflex, manifest in a digitized world? Why does Kanye West take such outsized significance in the lives of many?"

No word yet on whether Kanye gave North West a chance to find the eggs Kim Kardashian hid around the house before claiming in the name of Yeezus.
