Kanye West’s “Awesome” Sounds So Not Awesome

A high-quality snippet of Kanye West's Kim Kardashian tribute "Awesome" played last night on Keeping Up with the Kardashians (we'll forgive you if you missed it because you were watching the wack Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story). Over a "Bound 2"-esque piano melody, an Auto-Tuned Ye sings, "'Cause baby you're awesome, don't let nobody bring you down, you're so awesome," and it sounds just as treacly and goopy as it did when West performed the track at the 2013 Met Gala and it had everyone bracing for a Yeezus disaster.

Of course, it never landed on that ground-shaking album, and let's hope it doesn't end up on the follow-up, which has purportedly been in the works for a few months now.
