Governors Ball Reveals 2016 Daily Lineups

The presale for this year’s Governors Ball is now underway, and the annual New York City festival is ratcheting up excitement with the announcement of the 2016 daily lineups.

The festival will kick off on Friday, June 3, at Randall’s Island Park with headliner the Strokes. That day’s roster will be fleshed out by Beck, Jamie xx, Matt and Kim, Bloc Party and Father John Misty. The following day will see the Killers helm the lineup with more sets from M83, Haim, Miike Snow, Miguel, Purity Ring and Torres. Death Cab for Cutie, CHVRCHES, Courtney Barnett and Eagles of Death Metal will help wrap things up on Sunday, June 5. Kanye West will headline that evening. The 2016 Governors Ball presale is ongoing right here. On Thursday, you’ll be able to grab single-day passes at this location at 10 a.m. EST.

This year will the sixth-annual Governors Ball, but this time around, it will have to contend with a new competitor. Coachella organizers will launch the first-ever Panorama Fest, and it's set to take place in the very same location as Gov Ball at Randall's Island Park just a month later in July.
