Over the weekend at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational, CBS TV cameras captured a stunning blonde making eyes at the newly single and uber-talented Rory McIlroy — who, by the way, won the tournament — on the 15th green.

That girl, who appeared to have made eye contact with Rory, is Ashley Bongiovanni. A local from Akron, where the tournament was held, Bongiovanni's Twitter account describes her as a "Model/Singer/Foodie/Fashion lover/comedian," and given the photos above, we're willing to call her whatever she wants.

It doesn't appear that her exploits were successful in wooing Rory beyond a moment's glance, but you can't fault her for trying. And frankly, we wouldn't fault Rory for circling back on this lead now that the Internet has gone nuts for #Smashley. If nothing else, she's persistent:
