Judd Apatow to Produce a Lonely Island Movie

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer's The Lonely Island is heading to the big screen, where they can scream "I'm on a boat!" in full 3-D IMAX glory. The SNL Digital Short masterminds are working on a film for their comedy-music trio, which will be co-directed by Schaffer and Taccone, and produced by Judd Apatow, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As for the plot, all that's been revealed is that the film will be set "in the music world" so hopefully it'll be about Blizzard Man's breakout success. And judging by their ability to snag major stars for features on their songs, the film will likely include cameos from all the cool, self-aware celebs. You just know Justin Timberlake is gonna show up in this thing.
