Stephon Marbury’s sneaker line is known for being the most affordable basketball sneaker around, but it’s not all back pats and high fives in the design department. Their upcoming release draws far too familiar fashion cues from arguably one of the hottest sneaker releases of all times.

If Kanye jumped over the Jumpman then Starbury has jumped over the shark with this latest look. The official name of the model is largely unimportant as they are basically just fake Yeezy Boosts with LED lights in their outsoles and a Starbury logo on the side. The only thing that really sets them apart is the fact that they are available in a wide range of colorways, whereas the Yeezy’s keep things neutral and drab.

While these fake Yeezy Boosts are sure to get you roasted by friends, Starbury’s mission of providing affordable footwear for inner city athletes is a noble one and hopefully they don’t lose sight of that.
