Snoop Dogg will be taking the stage at this year's SXSW Music Festival, but not as a performer. On Friday, March 20, at 11AM at the Austin Convention Center, the iconic rapper will be addressing all Music and Platinum badgeholders as this year's keynote speaker.

Dubbed a Conversation with Snoop Dogg, the multi-platinum rapper will open up about his life and career -- one that is full of awards, iconic songs and, most recently, a reggae-influenced album under the nickname Snoop Lion.

Along with the keynote announcement, Snoop Dogg has shared details for his latest track with Tyrese, “Dumb S---," in an Instagram photo:

Snoop Dogg joins a long list of heralded keynote speakers, including Lady Gaga, Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Geldof, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Lou Reed, Pete Townshend, Neil Young, Robert Plant, Little Richard, Daniel Lanois, Robbie Robertson, Ray Davies and Steve Earle.
