Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte V “Rose Gold” and “Sage”

Ronnie Fieg decided to drop another fire pair of the Asics Gel Lyte and spared us the whole backstory "inspiration" bullshit you hear with every shoe that releases these days. Fieg basically was all like, "You see this color right here? It's hot. That's it. Buy the sneaker," and that's a backstory we can get behind. Actually, if you read Fieg's blog post about the backstory being that there is no backstory, it kind of starts to sound like a backstory — which is funny to us because we're assholes. Anyways, Fieg decided to use his patent pending rose gold pigskin again for these Gel Lyte Vs for everyone that couldn't get their hands on the GT-II silhouette that released a couple of years back. The designer also decided to use a Sage color for the another pair of Gel Lyte Vs, which is cool if you're into aquatics and mermaids and shit like that.

To be perfectly honest, Asics Gel Lyte V silhouette isn't the best of the Gel Lyte series, but Fieg did his best to make the shoes actually appealing, and succeeded.
