Radiohead Unveil Three Opening Acts for Their Upcoming 2016 World Tour
Now that Radiohead have finally and officially given the world their long-awaited and brilliant new album, A Moon Shaped Pool, they can turn their attention to their upcoming world tour.
Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and the boys have just announced the openings acts for several of the shows beginning May 20 in the Netherlands.
San Francisco-based experimental electronic artist Holly Herndon will join Radiohead for that show, along with concerts in France and England. Brooklyn acoustic ensemble Dawn of Midi will open their hometown shows at Madison Square Garden and experimental hip-hop outfit Shabazz Palaces will perform at the two Los Angeles dates. Portishead drummer Clive Deamer will also once again join Radiohead on the tour as a second drummer. And, in case you haven't heard it yet, you should stop whatever you're doing and listen to A Moon Shaped Pool this instant.
