Hip-hop's power couple, Jay Z and Beyonce, made a good chunk of change last year, according to Forbes' annual list of the World's Highest Paid Musicians.

The magazine tallied up the superstar couple's earning within the calendar year and the results are pretty impressive. Hov came in at No. 13 with $56 million, while Queen Bey was just behind him at No. 14 with a grand total of $54.5 million. The Carters' revenue came mostly from their On The Run Tour, which grossed over $100 million throughout its dates. Beyonce's 2015 brought in only about half of what 2014 held for the icon.

Jay eked by his wife perhaps from the many number of fingers he has in different business venture pies. The man has Roc Nation and his Armand de Brigand champagne bringing in serious coin. The one seeming misstep in the public eye has been the rap mogul's purchase and launch of streaming service Tidal, which has non-stop been in talks of being re-sold and gone through a number of CEOs in the past year. Perhaps if Tidal really hits a stride and Bey drops an album or something, the two could place higher on this list next year.

Other artists appearing on Forbes' World's Highest-Paid Musicians tally included Justin Timberlake (No. 7, $63 million), Diddy (No. 8, $60 million), Bruno Mars (No. 22, $40 million) and Dr. Dre (No. 30, $33 million).
