First Look at Paul Rudd in ‘Ant-Man’

Marvel has released the first photo of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in Ant-Man. As you can see up top, it appears he's still a criminal in a van down by the river and hasn't yet become shrinkable superhero Ant-Man with the help of Michael Douglas' Hank Pym. Sad Ant-Man is another worthy entry in 2014's Sad Superhero canon, joining the ranks of Sad Batman, Sad Superman, and Sad Wonder Woman.

Rudd will have a decent roster of stars to help carry his first blockbuster action role: In addition to Douglas, the cast is rounded out by Evangeline Lilly, T.I., Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Gregg Turkington (a.k.a. Neil Hamburger), and John Slattery.

Ant-Man is slated for release on July 17, 2015.
