These Stan Smiths can be summed up in one emotionally charged adjective — CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!! The Stan Smith has always been known to be the OG tennis sneaker silhouette, the one that inspired silhouettes like the Common Projects Achilles Low. But with the three stripes stripped from the outside of the shoe it becomes blatantly obvious that CP and many other brands have "appropriated" the iconic adidas sneaker. We don't think adidas is sweating it too much though, not with this new collaboration they've put out with high-end menswear retailers such as Colette, Dover Street Market, and Barneys New York.

Add this fire collaboration to the Stan Smith's triumphant return in 2014, and you know adidas is coming back to take no prisoners. Each retailer will have their own version of the sneaker, with the store names stamped in gold lettering on the top of the tongue. If it was us, we'd go after the Colette jawnz so fast it'd make your head spin, but we need to work out how we'd get to Paris.

The sneakers are "estimated" to retail at €150 ($200.31) and will be released on September 13. Mark the date down in your calendars, you don't want to miss this one.
