If you’re a sane and rational person you’ve probably wondered how people who rock mesh runners year round deal with the wet weather. Well, adidas has cleared up any doubt on the matter with a runner that is able to rock in rain, hail, sleet or snow.

The adidas NMD City Sock Gore Tex is a weatherproof model that eschews laces to create a weather tight seal around your foot. It doesn’t seem to get more comfortable than this, with a sock built upper and Boost laden outsole providing top of the line comfort along the way. It’s a fairly simple look and it comes in two colorways, with basic black or white taking the upper with the outsole serving as contrast.

These are set to drop sometime this year at select adidas retailers.
