UPDATE: Oh brother, he responded to a female commenter by using the c-word.

Adam Richman, star of Man vs. Food, has just gone tween-cyber-bully on some Instagram commenters, and it may have cost him his job, as Travel Channel delayed the premiere of his new show. The usually jovial television personality posted a photo on Instagram along with the caption, "Had ordered this suit from a Saville Row tailor over a year ago. Think I'm gonna need to take it in a little," with the hashtag #thinspiration. One user took offense, saying the hashtag "glorifies negative media self-imagery that being thin is better as opposed to any other body style." Richman responded with "DILLIGAF" (Does it look like I give a fuck?), and things quickly devolved from there, which is generally what happens on celebrity Instagram comment feeds.

"Oh eat a bag of shit, dummy. No apology is coming," Richman wrote, according to The Guardian. "If it inspires someone to attain a healthy thinner body then that was what it was meant to do. Only fuckup it seems was your dad's choice to go without a condom." His rant concluded thusly: "grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you." Oof. Not a good look.

Richman eventually apologized, writing, "I've responded to internet hate recently with vile words directed at those hating me. I am sorry, I should know better & will do better." The offending comments and the apology have been deleted, but Travel Channel has already postponed the premiere of his new show Man Finds Food, which was set to air today (July 2).

The internet is just the worst.
