Mike Nugent kicked five field goals and A.J. Green caught 10 passes for 173 yards and his team’s only touchdown, as the Bengals dominated the Miami Dolphins, 22-7, in Cincinnati on Thursday night.

Glad in garish orange uniform tops and pants, Miami (1-3) generated little offense other than Ryan Tannehill’s 74-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills in the first quarter that gave the Dolphins a 7-3 lead — their last of the game.

The Bengals quickly rallied, with Andy Dalton tossing a seven-yard scoring pass to Green that gave Cincinnati (2-2) the lead for good, 10-7, by the end of the first quarter.

Green continued to catch passes at will throughout the game, many of which helped set up Nugent field goals. Nugent added two field goals in the second quarter and one in each of the quarters in the second half as the Dolphins’ offense sputtered.

The Bengals’ defense held Miami to 222 total yards and just eight first downs, while sacking Tannehill five times and forcing him into two turnovers.
