LeBron James will exercise his early termination option and become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, according to ESPN. James had two years left on his contract with the Miami Heat, and would've made $20 million next season. This will begin another bidding war for the star, much like when he announced he'd leave Cleveland in 2010. While rumors have swirled that LeBron is eyeing a return to the Cavs, sources say he's hoping the Heat come back with the best offer so he can stay put.

USA Today sums up the options for James, including a max deal with the Heat for five years and $130 million or a four-year deal worth up to $96 million elsewhere.

Whatever happens, we just hope it culminates with The Decision 2.
