King Mez Picks Week 3’s NFL Games

Face it: You don't know much about NFL football. In fact, even the so-called "experts" on TV can barely pick half the games right each week. So rather than sit up here on our high horse and act like we know more than you do, we'd rather have some fun. Each week during the 2014 NFL season, we're going to invite a celebrity from the world of music, fashion, pop culture or otherwise to pick games with us. Last week we had Derrick Favors in the building. This week it's King Mez — read on!

Rapper King Mez has big things ahead. We can't talk about it just yet, but the Carolina kid just moved out to California and has been in the studio working with some major names. On his most recent project, Long Live The King, Mez showcased his catchy cadence and distinct, hoarse voice via strikingly polished rhymes. Before that, he hit it big with the single "Monte Carlo," which got major airplay. He's opened for J.Cole and Pusha T, among others, and when he's not laying down music, he's likely to be kicking it with his hometown homie John Wall — that alone should be enough to tell you Mez knows his sports.
