Solebox x Asics Gel Lyte III Blue Carpenter Bee

Solebox isn’t simply a sneaker retailer, they are also a powerhouse when it comes to collaborations. The German-based store teamed up with Asics for a tribute to an insect that's native to their country.

The basis for the sneaker’s inspiration is the blue carpenter bee and the Asics Gel Lyte III is tasked with carrying the weight. That translates as a black nubuck sneaker with teal accents and hits of metallic silver in the mix. The Solebox branding is all over the shoe including the heel and outsole. The design of the insect itself can be found on the insole and heel of the outsole beneath the translucent rubber.
