Sneaker of the Week: Nike Air Force 1 Jade Collection

The Chinese New Year has brought out the best in sneaker brands and Nike is going to even further lengths to turn in that thematic heat. For this latest release they are also saluting the 35th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 model, as well as the Chinese New Year. The resulting set of silhouettes is more than worth celebrating, so we’ve elected to make it into our Sneaker of the Week.

Two shoes are included in the Nike Air Force 1 Jade Collection and the differences between both are very subtle—the Nike Air Force 1 Low Ultra Nai Ke and the Nike Air Force 1 Upstep for women. Both pair are blessed with a white tumbled leather upper with jade green accents on the tongue and heel tab and golden trim outlining each element. The outsole is where the variation happens as the men’s Nai Ke gets jade accents on the heel and toe while the women’s Upstep keeps it opaque.
