Whether trudging through sludge or trekking on a trail, it's always the right season for a fresh pair of sneakerboots. With that being the case, Nike's commitment to developing versatile new models is very appreciated.

The Nike LunarFresh SneakerBoot is the latest development from the boys in Beaverton, Ore. and it can be summed up in one word: aggressive. Its build consists of black nubuck with a swoosh caged beneath exposed flywire while perforations form an implied toebox, which is echoed by a knobby, textured mudguard.

These feel like more of a sneaker than a boot, but don't get it twisted -- they can probably hang with the best of them when taken off the beaten path. We're still waiting on a U.S. release date, however, the Nike LunarFresh SneakerBoot will be available as early as next week at Overkill.
