Earlier this summer, Nike made Angels superstar outfielder Mike Trout the first baseball player since Ken Griffey, Jr. to get his own Nike signature shoe—the Nike Lunar Vapor Trout.

Tonight and tomorrow night in Minnesota, at the Home Run Derby and at the MLB All-Star game, Nike athletes will debut the brand new Nike Baseball cleat (along with the Vapor Elite Pro batting glove) in front of millions of fans watching on TV from around the globe.

The Nike Lunar Vapor Spectrum Collection in particular is, according to Nike, "inspired by the sun’s reflection onto the Land of 10,000 Lakes. When the sun sets over water, individual points of light blend together to form a smooth-colored spectrum of light. The collection is composed of lightweight and responsive product both for the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game enabling speed."

Check out detailed photos of the new cleat above and be on the lookout during the Derby and the ASG for these designs on Nike athletes. If you want to cop your own pair, the full Nike Vapor Spectrum Collection is available now at Nike.com.
