After a long wait the design collective HTM (Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Mark Parker) has finally decided to bless us, thirsty plebeians, with a new silhouette named the Nike Mercurial Superfly HTM. We use the term “new” loosely, considering the fact that the sneaker is basically just the Nike Superfly soccer cleat sitting on a Nike Free sole. Apparently that’s what the designers were going for, claiming the sneaker “represents a new HTM proposition—a football-inspired shoe for everyday wear.”

Yeah, sure, or you guys could have just admitted you got a little lazy. Still, with Nike HTM's streamlined, goth-ninja look, the sneakers will probably appear on a lot of fashion insiders’ feet, rivaling Adidas’ Y-3 design efforts.
