There are certain sneakers you just don’t expect to see tampered with but Nike has always been about shaking things up. The sneaker giant has decided to take one of their iconic runners and flip it on its head.

The Nike Cortez Chukka is a high-rise version of the popular runner that looks just as comfortable as the original sneaker. The shoe comes in two coloways and have been placed on a new chukka build including the black suede and canvas as well as the white leather with red and blue accents. The ankle length portion leaves the heel tab a bit taller and even includes a pull tab on the heel as well.

Expect to see the Nike Cortez Chukka in stores and on Nike.com before the end of autumn.
