Marshawn Lynch, who, you'll remember, inexplicably did not get the ball at the end of Super Bowl 49, is now retired. So he had some time to sit down for an interview, garbed of course in full Beast Mode attire: hat, shirt and, we presume, pants, shoes, socks, et al. When asked about the "Beast Mode" philosophy and how he came up with the idea, Lynch did not disappoint.

"That's when it just clicked in my mind that if you just run through somebody's face, a lot of people ain't gonna be able to take that over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over," Lynch explained, before adding, "and over and over and over and over and over again."

The reporter, being diligent, asked Lynch if there was a deeper meaning to what he said. Lynch's response, well, you'll just have to watch for yourself.
