Chance the Rapper, who blew up in 2013 after the release of his Acid Rap LP, has been making it easier for Chicago high school kids to access rap and hip-hop by regularly hosting open mic nights specifically for that demographic. Now, the host kicked it up a notch at his latest installment at the University of Chicago where both Kanye West and 21-year-old Vic Mensa were in attendance for a surprise set. You can check out Mensa's Instagram photo of the two above.

Luckily, thanks to smartphones, you can also watch clips of fan-filmed footage of the two rappers performing "U Mad" and "All Day" for the audience. Mensa, a brand new Chicago rapper who has yet to set a release date for his debut LP (to be titled Traffic), is featured on Kanye's track "Wolves" from his upcoming seventh studio album, So Help Me God.
