Helio Castroneves should consider himself lucky.

Castroneves managed to get himself out and was then taken in by medical officials.
The accident was the capper in what had already been a bad day for Castroneves. He was penalized eight points for making contact with driver Scott Dixon during a race last weekend.
The Indianapolis 500 will take place May 24. Castroneves is seeking to become only the race’s fourth four-time winner.
