Harlem Globetrotters Hoop It Up With Pope Francis in Awesome Video

How cool is Pope Francis?

Cool enough to ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

The ‘Trotters met the pope Wednesday in Saint Peter’s Square where they showed him some holy moves, most notably how to spin a ball on his finger.

He also received a jersey with the number 90 (for the number of years the Globetrotters have been in existence), although we have to wonder if his holiness will kick back and wear it while watching the NBA playoffs during whatever down time he may have.

If anything, we’d think Pope Francis would be a baseball fan so he could root for the Angels. There’s no way he likes hockey — any sport with Devils can’t get his support.

In any event, he’s got game. Maybe we ought to call him Pope Steve Francis.
