Buckshot Gallery is satisfying West Coast graffiti lovers and art enthusiasts with the showcase "Noche de Calaveras," curated by the iconic artist, Risk.

The showing, which ends on Nov. 7, features colorfully painted skulls, prints, photographs and books from 35 graffiti writers and artists. The show has been in the works for two weeks in Santa Monica, Calif., and has already gained over 400 attendees -- including Metallica's Robert Trujillo and Rakaa from the Dilated Peoples.

“Everyone at Buckshot was overwhelmed with the response on our opening night,” said Kelly "Risk" Graval, co-founder of the Buckshot gallery. “Having so many talented artists involved with the show and watching the L.A. art, music and fashion world all come together for the grand opening made it a very special night for us.”

Artists also signed books, talked about their works and gave insight of their role in the history of street art. Risk also hinted that there may be another show this year in addition to his solo show of "mixed media works" in December. Another graffiti artist, Seen, will be showcasing his oil paintings in February as well.

Artists that are featured in the "Noche de Calaveras" show include Risk, Seen, Tristan Eaton, Nathan Ota, Estevan Oriol, Slick, Andrew Hem, David Flores, Everlast, Evidence, O.G. Abel, Phil Frost, Saber, Sonny Boy, Van Styles, Aaron Thomas, Ariel Gold, Vyal, Axis, Ernie Cefalu, Franco Vescovi, Ariel Gold, Cookie, Meggs, Shark Toof, Steven Lippman and more.

Buckshot Gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments can also be made to view the art on display.
