These ‘Enter the Dragon’ Facts Pack a Punch

You know Bruce Lee as one of the all-time great martial-arts movie stars, and you probably know his masterpiece, Enter the Dragon. But did you know the film almost didn’t have that title? The film was written under the title Blood and Steel. Producers were skeptical about the Enter the Dragon name because they believed it sounded like a children’s film. That’s just one of the facts featured in the latest installment of You Think You Know Movies!

If you watch closely, you can spot another great martial artist, Jackie Chan, as an extra in the film. In one scene, Lee accidentally hit Chan during one of their choreographed fights; Chan said Lee apologized and then struck up a conversation about kung fu. Enter the Dragon made Lee an international star (the film, made for less than $1 million, remains among the most profitable ever made), but sadly it was also the end of his career; he died suddenly of a cerebral edema on July 20, 1973.
