Eddie Hall Lifts a Whopping 1,025 Pounds for Heavy-Duty World Record
You know how good you feel when you manage to put in a new five-gallon bottle of Poland Spring at the water cooler?
Well, this will make you feel a little less proud.
The 28-year-old British man has his sights set on bigger things, though, namely winning the World’s Strongest Man. To that end, he wolfs down an astonishing 10,000 calories a day. He currently weighs 392 pounds and hopes to get to 418.
“Yes I’m doing damage to my body now,” Hall readily confesses to the BBC. “The human body isn’t designed to be this size…But the same as any sport — you’ve got to push the boundaries to be the best. My life revolves around World’s Strongest Man. I want to be the World’s Strongest Man. That’s what I said I was going to do five years ago and that’s what I’m going to do.”
