David Johnson ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns, and the Arizona Cardinals beat the San Francisco 49ers, 33-21, in Santa Clara, Calif. on Thursday night.

Drew Stanton threw two touchdown passes to Larry Fitzgerald for Arizona (2-3), which played without quarterback Carson Palmer. He missed the game as a result of a concussion sustained last Sunday.

San Francisco (1-4) was victimized for three turnovers that led to 17 points for the Cardinals. Niners’ starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert threw two interceptions and kick returner Chris Davis fumbled a kickoff.

Stanton finished 11 for 27 for 124 yards with the two scores.

Gabbert completed 18 of 31 passes for 162 yards, with one touchdown. He ran for another score, but that didn’t keep fans from chanting for backup Colin Kaepernick throughout the game.
